Top Chef’s New Season: Two Bay Area Contestants Make the Cut
Bravo’s Top Chef heads into season 16 with two Bay Area contestants! The new season premieres on December 6th at 9pm ET and will feature 15 new chefs total. The chefs will be competing in various locations of Kentucky before heading to Macau, China for the finale.
Chefs Michelle Minori and Branden Rosen will be representing the Bay Area, and we’ll be rooting for them!
Michelle Minori of San Francisco grew up in Lodi and graduated with honors from The California Culinary Academy Le Cordon Blue in San Francisco. She worked at some of San Francisco’s top Michelin restaurants and served as Executive Chef of Barzotto.
Brandon Rosen of San Mateo grew up in Howell, Michigan and was intertwined in his family owned and operated chocolate factory while there. Ever since he moved to California, he’s worked in various Bay Area kitchens and is currently an Executive private chef.
The other 13 contestant’s hometowns include Washington, Philadelphia, Miami Beach, Brooklyn, Cincinnati, St. Paul, Boston, Paducah, Dothan, Dubuque and Asbury Park.
