Legendary Jazz Singer Nancy Wilson Has Passed Away

Nancy Wilson passed away peacefully on Thursday, her manager confirmed. She was 81 years old.

Nancy Wilson was a platinum-selling artist and three-time Grammy winner with a long time musical and acting career which spanned over more than five decades. She recorded upwards of 70 albums and was known for not only jazz, but also blues, R&B, soul and pop. The title she preferred most for herself though was “Song Stylist”.

Nancy is survived by her three children and five grandchildren.  Celebrities and public figures ranging from within the music world, the political field, and beyond have taken to Twitter and other platforms to mourn and share their sadness.

Nancy is in all of our thoughts today. We thank her for the wonderful music, her wonderful voice, and everything else that she has shared with us.
