International Women’s Day explains that “A balanced world is a better world.”  The International Women’s Day 2019 campaign theme is #BalanceforBetter.

If you want to take part in International Women’s Day, take some time to “celebrate women’s achievements, raise awareness against bias and take action for equality.” Go to the International Women’s Day website to find last minute events to attend, tools and resources, wonderful photos and videos and a bunch of other great information.

People all over the world are out and about today taking part in demonstrations and various events. Social media is all about International Women’s Day today as well. For example, in recognition of the day Google is sharing a wonderful interactive slideshow Google Doodle, which was made by women. Take a look!
