Ellen Called the Academy to Ask About Re-Hiring Kevin Hart as Oscars Host

You just never know how things are going to turn out. Ellen told her friend Kevin Hart today that she reached out to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to see about getting him re-hired as the Oscars host.

The Oscars say they are open to Kevin resuming his role as host; all he has to do is let them know he wants the job.

Ellen has since received some backlash but seems to be taking it well. As she simply put on Twitter today, “I believe in forgiveness. I believe in second chances. And I believe in @Kevinhart4real.”
