Today, Will Smith posted the first poster for the remake of the ‘Aladdin’ musical, in which he’ll be the wise-cracking genie! For Disney fans and/or Will Smith fans, this is some super exciting news.
In Disney’s 1992 Aladdin film, the wise-cracking, bubbly, loveable genie was voiced by the late Robin Williams. How perfect that the wise-cracking, bubbly, loveable Will Smith will be playing the part now!
Will’s instagram post today revealing the poster includes the comment, “LEMME OUT!! Can’t wait for y’all to see Me BLUE!”
We wonder if he knows how much we can’t wait to see him blue too! But we have to wait allllll the way until May 24, 2019. Hopefully time flies past and its May before we know it.
