Michelle Obama and several celebrity co-chairs, including Lin Manuel, Tom Hanks and Janelle Monae, announced the form of the organization back in July. The goal is a crucial one: To register as many people as possible to vote in the November elections.
“Voting is the only way to ensure that our values and priorities are represented in the halls of power. And it’s not enough to just vote for president every four years”, said Michelle Obama.
