Did you catch the Black girls Rock! awards show on Sunday? What a beautiful evening with so many wonderful moments! Queen Latifah hosted, and as usual, did a fantastic job. The featured performances included Yolanda Adams, Stephanie Mills, Ledisi, H.E.R, Tamia… just to name a few! Judith Jamison (Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater) spoke on the purpose of dance and there was also a very moving Aretha Franklin tribute.
Tons of positive energy from beginning to end and even a message from Michelle Obama. The gist of her message? Vote!
