Octavia Spencer stars as Sue Ann, a lonely woman who ends up torturing a group of teenagers. The movie’s synopsis warns, “as Ma’s hospitality starts to curdle into obsession, what began as a teenage dream turns into a terrorizing nightmare, and Ma’s place goes from the best place in town to the worst place on earth.”
Ma is directed by Tate Taylor (The Help) and costars Juliette Lewis, Dante Brown, Luke Evans, Gianni Paolo, Missi Pyle, McKaley Miller and Corey Fogelmanis. The Production company behind the movie is Blumhouse Productions (Get Out, Happy Death Day, Us).
