Jordan Peele is busy! He is producing and co-writing a remake of Candyman, he’s working on a The Twilight Zone reboot with CBS and he’s also contributing to the new Toy Story movie along with his friend Keegan-Michael Key.
On top of all of that, he’s also been very busy working on his new movie, titled “Us”, which has been said to be the follow-up to the critically acclaimed Get Out. This is exciting news! The only downside is that we have to wait all the way until March 15, 2019 to see it!
Universal Pictures will release “Us” nationwide.
A plot synopsis of the film, albeit vague (surely intentionally) has been released exclusively on /Film.com: “A mother (Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong’o from ‘Black Panther,’ ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi,’ and ’12 Years a Slave’) and a father (Winston Duke from ‘Black Panther’) take their kids to their beach house expecting to unplug and unwind with friends (including Emmy winner Elisabeth Moss from TV series ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’). But as night descends, their serenity turns to tension and chaos when some shocking visitors arrive uninvited.”
OMG, is it March yet??
