The Timberwolves debuted their Prince jerseys on Friday night at the Target Center in Minneapolis. Finally! Everyone in the crowded sold out arena was excited for the game, but there were also plenty of people there for Prince, some even more so than for the game.

The music throughout the game was all Prince music. Fans had the opportunity to vote for which Prince songs they wanted to hear during the second half. Jellybean Johnson played the National Anthem on electric guitar. Morris Day performed during halftime. The crowed was asked to make noise through out the evening to show their love for Prince. Over 18 thousand fans had no problem doing so!

Nike and the Timberwolves recently teamed up to create these Jerseys in honor of Prince, so the excitement had been building and people were ready to see the Team in action with their gear on. It was a strong game, and a wonderful yet emotional night. And of course the Timberwolves won (112-96)!
