Janet Jackson was one of the performers at the 2018 Global Citizen Festival (Saturday 9/29) and she was on fire!
There was a scare earlier when a barrier fell down, causing the crowd to panic and run. One of the members of Coldplay took the stage to calm everyone down. Janet took the stage shortly after and did her thing! She kept everyone captivated with countless songs and she also gave a shot out to both Michael Jackson and her dad. While singing her and Michael’s song ‘Scream’, she looked up to the sky and yelled, “Let’s go Mike!” During ‘Together Again’, images of both Michael and Joe Jackson appeared on the big screen while Janet said, “I miss you. I love you. Both of you.”
Other performers included Cardi B, Shawn Mendes, Janelle Monae and John Legend, just to name a few!
