AMC Theatres is bringing Hocus Pocus back to the big screen this month to celebrate the film’s 25th anniversary.
You can only catch it 10/26 through 10/31. Check for participating AMC theaters here.
Remember the film? A teenage boy named Matt, his little sister Dani, and their new friend Allison explore an abandoned house in Salem, Massachusetts. Allison tries to warn the two siblings that the home once belonged to three suspected witches who were killed during the Salem witch trials. Matt unintentionally releases the witches from their death spell and from there, all sorts of wild (and comedic) happenings ensue. With the help of a magical cat, the children try to stop the witches from becoming immortal.
The perfect time to watch this of course is right around Halloween time, hence the 10/26-10/31 theater dates. Fun fact though: this film wasn’t even originally a Halloween movie, as it was released in August of 1993. It became a Halloween staple over the years since the Disney Channel began running it annually leading up to Halloween.
